September 21st marks the International Day of Peace.
Scarlett and I were invited to attend a Peace Day celebration at Hope's Montessori School this afternoon, from 1:30-3:30. We didn't make it for the whole celebration, but we did have a good time. There was face painting, paper crane making, juggling, and other fun activities.
Everyone was able to create a pinwheel, to place into a large Peace Sign.

There was also a yoga instructor available to instruct the kids on different yoga poses.

Scarlett had the most fun, though, talking about Peace with her Aunt Sally and Cousin Esther.
