On Saturday, we took Scarlett on her very first corn maze and pumpkin patch trip. I've always thought this seems like the kind of thing people with kids do. We'd tried to go last weekend, but apparently the line was too long to get onto Sauvie Island so we had to scrap the trip. This week, the weather was sub par and everyone else was indoors. So we drove out there and lost ourselves in a maze of maize.
There was a lot of corn. Note, in Charlie's hand, that he found some corn, popped it, and we ate it as a snack. How resourceful.
I wanted to find an 18 pound pumpkin to put our 18 pound baby on, but I bet these pumpkins are bigger.
There was also a petting zoo.
My students say, "Baby! Pumpkin! Halloween?"
